AN EVENING OF CELEBRATING THE DIVERSITY OF SUMMERS FAVORITE DRINK
Enjoy an evening of Rosé wines made in the Lake Chelan Wine Valley, Hor d’oeuvres, and a Riedel magnum ouverture wine glass with the Lake Chelan Wine Valley logo to take home! It all takes place at Campbell’s Park and River Room on Saturday April 21st from 7pm-9pm.
Here are a list of the Rosé wines you will be able to taste at the event:
2017 Grandma Lila’s Rosé – 100% Sangiovese
Our second vintage displays a much lighter and elegant salmon hue. Light floral fragrances lead into strawberry and rhubarb aromatics with a palette to match! Refreshing but dry, with a hovering lemon and herbal finish.
C R Sandidge Wines
NV Cardinal – Pinot Noir 51% & Chardonnay 49%
A pale salmon – pink color begins the presentation. Warm brioche, ripe Anjou pear, peach, golden delicious apple and juicy strawberries flesh out the aroma – flavor profile.
2017 Artist Series Rosé – 100% Lake Chelan Syrah
A beautiful rose gold colored wine with bright strawberry and cherry on the palate.
Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards
2015 Good in Bed – 100% Pinot Noir
Methode Champenoise sparkling brut rosé
2017 Shameless Hussy Rosé – Grenache Blend
Complex, refreshing, fruity.
Lake Chelan Winery
Rose gold and mouthwatering, this 100% stainless steel stunner is medium-bodied and ready to be your go-to spring and summer sipper. Juicy notes of strawberry, rhubarb and dried cherries on the nose are followed by a punch of green apple and hints of pie cherry on the palate. Crisp, bright, and refreshing.
2016 Pinkie A*Go*Go – 100% Syrah
A lovely rosé that is fresh, crisp and filled with lip-smacking fruit.
2017 Pinot Noir Rosé – 100% Pinot Noir
This is the signal that summer is just around the corner. Aromatics of strawberry and a floral note of rose petal with lots of bright fruit on the palate. We think of strawberry, rhubarb, pie cherry, clove, orange zest and love the play of bright early summer berries with the creaminess of the mid palate. We will be drinking this daily until September .
Rio Vista Wines
2017 Wild Rose Rosẽ – Barbera, Tempranillo and Malbec
More body and structure than most rosẽ style wines. Dark ruby color adds to the richness and flavors of ripe summer fruit.
Rocky Pond Winery
2017 Rose of Grenache – 100% Grenache
Siren Song Vineyard Estate and Winery
2017 La Vie Est Belle – 100% Pinot Noir
La Vie Est Belle (“life is beautiful”) is made with 100% Chelan Valley Pinot Noir. We macerate lightly, ferment, then age in neutral French oak and stainless. Ethereal strawberry and citrus notes on the nose. The finish is wonderfully crisp, dry, and smooth.
2017 Bocciolo di Rosa – 35% Barbera, 25% Sangiovese, 21% Cabernet Franc, 13% Malbec, 6% Grenache
Color is a light cranberry red – watermelon. The aromas and flavors are cherry, fruit punch, Jolly Rancher watermelon candy with the slightest hint of strawberry. Delicious – mouthwatering sugar – acid balance.
Tunnel Hill Winery
2016 Estate Pinot Noir Rose – 100% Pinot Noir
Lush with notes of strawberries and tart cherries in the nose and mouth, this Rose’ opens with bright acidity giving way to a richer finish accented by hints of tobacco, allspice and white pepper.
Wapato Point Cellars
With a rose gold-hue and fresh-cut roses on the nose, this rosé wine truly lives up to it’s name. A melody of luscious pink lady apple and first-of-the-season strawberry on the palate. Light-bodied, refreshing, and full of summer sipping potential!
2017 Reserve Rosé – 100% Sangiovese
Rose petal, lilac, strawberry
2017 Fruit Picker Rosé – 100% Syrah
Strawberry, rhubarb, toasted cream
