Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards

Let’s raise a glass to Salmon-safe wine! Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards, on the north shore of Lake Chelan, specializes in making wines from grapes grown right here in the Lake Chelan Valley. As one of the pioneer vineyards in the region, owners Don and Judy Phelps are dedicated to farming their land using sustainable and organic methods. Hard Row to Hoe was the first vineyard in the Lake Chelan Valley to be certified Sustainable and Salmon-safe.

Wine is made in a style to reflect the terroir of Lake Chelan. Wines from estate grapes have earned accolades and awards internationally. Don’t miss the Cabernet Franc from the Glacial Gravels vineyard. Ask for a vineyard or winery tour when you visit.
